Job Overview:
My client is a Top 50 UK law firm and its Real Estate Litigation Team is expanding. The team of 14 Partners and other legal advisors, operating from 4 of its regional offices, is looking for a 3-6yr PQE Solicitor or equivalent lawyer to join its team in Nottingham.
The successful candidate will carry out a full range of commercial real estate litigation work, but with a bias towards commercial landlord and tenant issues, and with particular emphasis on the retail and leisure sector. You will work alongside the Nottingham office Real Estate Team to help develop and expand our real estate litigation offering in that location. Post-qualification experience within a recognised real estate litigation department is essential to the role, and marketing experience would be an advantage.
To succeed in the role you will have experience in the core areas of landlord & tenant issues including business lease renewals, break notices, claims relating to landlord’s consent, dilapidations claims, forfeiture, possession claims, service charge issues, tenant default and tenant insolvency. This is an opportunity to join one of the profession’s biggest real estate litigation teams.
