Job Overview:
I am looking for an experienced Facilities Engineer to provide overall responsibility for electrical building services. Managing the site you will provide direction for system design and installation, providing competency checks on the people working with the systems.
Your focus will be to develop, implement and monitor improvement programs to ensure compliance with electrical, health and safety regulation.
You will manage the efficient operation of the electrical building services, which may include: lighting and emergency lighting; electrical distribution system; back-up power; fire alarm; energy recording; CCTV, intruder alarms and building management systems.
Hopefully, you will have a building services degree or equivalent with IEE 17th Edition + electrical test qualifications. We are looking for candidates who can provide at least 5 years + in a similar role, preferably with knowledge of trend bms.
In addition, we are also looking for you to have past experience of successful leadership of technical staff coupled with previous delivery of complex technical solutions. You should retain a good knowledge of all facilities processes and systems with relevant health and safety and environmental legislation and practice.
