Firstly, it might pay to see which factors represent your priorities ,and decide what you can do to positively influence them in your current role.

The healthier way to come to a job search is in 'move toward' mode, searching for a job that meets your clearly defined personal criteria.
To do this, it is a good idea to write down the times you have felt most alive, enthused and fulfilled in a job, what was happening? What you were doing? What were the rewards? Were they financial?Time with family? Recognition? Or satisfaction of a job well done? Take time out to write this list down and build up a picture of where you want to go with your job search.
