Job Overview:
Responsibilities
Initially to play a leading role in the Unit Price Separation project to understand business requirements for management and provide the technical expertise to define the Operating Model & team structure.
This will cover development of process flows & hand offs that are appropriate to support;
o Asset Servicing (Dividends, Trades, Corporate Actions, Settlement and Validation of Market Prices).
o Dealing, Order Management & Settlement.
o Reconciliations and Controls.
o Investment Accounting.
o Development of Service Level Agreements as appropriate.
o Defining Management Information needs.
Defining and documenting detailed procedures that determine how the processes will be undertaken, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulation and legislation.
e.g Sarbanes-Oxley Act 2002, compliance with ABI Guidelines on Unit Pricing Practices and Principles for Unit Linked Funds & FSA Regulations for Life & Pensions Funds.
Familiarity with the software package, pControl, selected to support the management of Assets in order to prepare & execute business acceptance test scripts to test defined business processes.
